Medifast Medical Partners
MEDIFAST AFFILIATES
(For physicians who opt to simply recommend Medifast to their patients.)
Medifast will provide (1) an affiliate link from the physician’s web site to the Medifast Direct web site. Monthly compliance fees are paid in accordance with the Medifast Affiliate Marketing Plan; approximately 20% is paid on the first-time orders only.
Qualifications: All health care partners are eligible, subject to Medifast’s approval of the affiliate site content.
PROFESSIONAL DIVISION OF TAKE SHAPE FOR LIFE
(For physicians who opt to enroll in Medifast’s Take Shape For Life direct sales division.)
Take Shape For Life will provide (1) a business coach to assist the physician with program development and (2) a web site for patient ordering and home delivery. Compensation is calculated and paid weekly on a scale of 20% – 35% based on the monthly sales volume.
Qualifications: All licensed health care professional partners are eligible. Must comply with all Policies and Procedures of the Take Shape For Life Health Advisor Manual.
MEDIFAST WHOLESALE
(For physicians who opt to distribute Medifast products directly to their patients from their offices.)
Medifast will provide (1) products at wholesale pricing; wholesale pricing is available only on case quantitites. Medifast may also provide (2) payment terms (invoice net 30 days) to precredit qualified medical centers, hospitals, and physician groups. Medifast prefers to partner with physicians who specialize in medical weight loss; however, that is not a limiting condition. Marketing restrictions apply.
Qualifications: Licensed medical practitioners only, with license type M.D. or D.O., and/or a P.A. or R.N.P. operating under the direct license of an M.D. or D.O.
MEDIFAST WEIGHT CONTROL CENTERS
(For physicians who opt to own and operate a Medifast Weight Control Center.)
Medifast will provide (1) territorial market protection, (2) operation training, (3) staff training, (4) marketing support, and (5) product at wholesale pricing for distribution to customers who have subscribed to a structured weight-loss program; wholesale pricing is available only on case quantities.
Qualifications: All health care partners are eligible; availability subject to MWCC franchise agreement terms and conditions.
