When my boyfriend Adam proposed to me in July of 2006, I decided to start my married life out on a healthy note, and got motivated with Medifast.
Before then, I was in the habit of rewarding myself with candy bars, and trying to calm stress with a second helping of food. I'd been up and down a lot; lost about 30 lbs on the low-carb diet, but I found that the weight came back as soon as I resumed eating a normal diet that included carbs.
Eventually, I got tired of being tired. My energy level was low, I couldn't wear the clothes I wanted to wear, and I felt self conscious. When I had plans with friends, sometimes I'd opt out or cancel at the last minute.
I started Medifast after a coworker successfully lost weight on the program and told me about it. I ordered a month's supply and never looked back. It was as if I suddenly woke up and knew, without a doubt, that enough was enough - I would order Medifast and stick to it, no matter what.
Medifast not only helped me lose weight, but taught me how to eat right - small, healthy meals throughout the day, and plenty of water. Medifast trained me that less is more - more results, better health, and more happiness!
I went from having a "build" to having a "figure." Adam - my new husband - is thrilled and is always telling me how proud he is of my accomplishment. I'm more in tune with what I eat, and only put things that are good for me into my system. I've traded being self-conscious for being health-conscious, and I'm on top of the world!
